We aim to build a brand that showcases the unique and talented authors we represent. This is more than a tagline- it’s a mission statement that guides us through the highly collaborative process of advocating for the stories you’ve created from our first thoughtful consideration of your query, all the way through publishing your final work into art.
Lochwood Court Books is the product of a dreamer just like many of you, our founder KD Prince. Her aspiration was to not only write and publish her own work, but to support other authors in doing the same. She spent over a year protecting the seed of LCB before recruiting her best friends to help finally nurture it to fruition. With Ashley and Brea, Lochwood Court grew from what felt like a pipe dream into a legitimate small business.
In 2023, Brea stepped seamlessly into the role of Chief Operating Officer. She is responsible for so much of the behind-the-scenes work of creating this business, from working with KD on The Last Dreamwalker to building a website for our company. KD & Ashley dream up the lofty goals; Brea plays a pivotal role in making them succeed. She is instrumental in planning actionable tasks and lovingly hounding us to meet deadlines. As an author with LCB, you will quickly learn Brea is the person who makes things happen around here.
Ashley joined the team in 2024 as Editor in Chief. She has worked through each iteration of The Last Dreamwalker with a keen eye for detail and the enthusiasm of Hermione Granger clutching a textbook. She also manages most of our social media content, where she is able to thrive as an extrovert connecting with both readers and peers.
